Thanksgiving was on the Geertsen side this year. Paul and Sharon decided to move it down to the Hurricane House. I was well prepared and stocked with activities and treats for the way down. The kids were going bonkers they were so excited! It was fridgid! Too cold, really to play outside. But it didn't matter, the cousins were together and had so much fun! They slept out on the floor together each night on blow-up mattresses. I enjoyed helping in the kitchen Thanksgiving morning although Paul and Sharon did most of the work. The dinner was delish and it was so fun to all be together. We all went to a movie that night, and shopping the next day.
Can you believe the only picture we took the whole trip was these of the boys sliding down the underpass ramp off I-15. We stopped so they could take a bathroom break and ended up playing in the snow for a while. Probably not the safest activity.
