A moment to breathe

 I remember clear back in April thinking- Things will be back-to-back busy until mid-June. Well, it's mid-June!


The flowers have continued to bloom and thrive in this gorgeous summer weather.

To say Paisley has been excitedly counting down the days to getting and decorating her very own room is a major understatement. So that she wouldn't be disappointed, I told her it would be July when I would be able to focus and assist her in moving out Zeke and all painting/ decorating projects. 
Luckily, the Parade of Homes came to town again and we went together looking for anything that would spark the vision for her new room! Jon sent us to the house he did the windows and doors for. It was probably our favorite!

Of course we all have Adren on the brain (and in our hearts) so the kids wrote him some love letters before he left the MTC, headed to Syracuse, NY!
And Zeke got to babysit Copper for a day while Sandra was out. 
He's a real good doggie and knows Zeke well!
It's very nice that there is nothing big looming on the calendar and I can take this time to catch up and recover!

 Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. Maybe it is because it is kid number four, but I have all the confidence in him. What a guy! We had a fun family gathering at Cash's house. Fun because ALL of the Boc's were there. May Celebrations and Love!

Our little Paisley and all of her little friends are graduating from High School and all of us mothers cannot believe it! My dear friend and current Young Women's President, Elin, set up a beautiful evening for the girls and mothers to celebrate each one of them. It was lovely and touching and very special. These girls are the best! Despite the scaffolding that has been a staple for way too many weeks I care to count, I always appreciate our coming-to-life spring yard. Everything is filling in nicely. It is amazing how big our trees and bushes have become in hardly no time! But that scaffolding! You can't really tell, but it is quite the maze to get in the front door. The porch area may need to be removed just so that people can enter safely on the Homecoming Day.  My friend Kelly reminded our CRU when we replaced our faces onto her family portrait when she arrived home from living abroad for a time. Happy Anniversary to Jon & Lindsey!

Happy 25 Years to us! We spent the weekend at Snowbird at the lovely resort. It was all so pretty! Our room had such gorgeous views of the mountainside. I texted this pic to Adren of Pfeifferhorn, a mountain he summited with his dad once. I looked at that, marveling that my boy has been there! We took the tram up to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views all around. One of the days it was nice to say, "The only thing on our schedule is a tram ride and dinner reservations". After so much hussle, it was nice to not have a whole lot to do. Chillin' with Jonny was really nice and good for us. It was a good reminder that we really enjoy each other. I mean, we knew that, but it is nice to spend a weekend together when you don't have a million other things going on.
