Paisley's Dance

I started this sweet thing in dance. It's worked out so nicely. A couple friends in the ward enrolled their daughters, so we can easily arrange carpool. The thought of dressing up, dancing, and being with her two favorite little friends has kept Paisley downright giddy. I tell you what~ when I get her in her little dance clothes and scoop her hair up in a little bun, it melts my heart.
I surprised her with a couple little things to wear for her first day. She was so excited, she immediately set to work making "herself" out of paper, laid it all out on the floor so she could see how pretty she was going to look. She wasn't even close.
Little girls are so different! It's a joy to drive the three of them, they sit in the back whispering and giggling, then all three hold hands and run in together, looking as adorable as can be. Paisley has loved showing her moves to Granny~ it's a short set of classes, just perfect.

 Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. May Celebrations and Love!

Our little Paisley and all of her little friends are graduating from High School and all of us mothers cannot believe it! My dear friend and current Young Women's President, Elin, set up a beautiful evening for the girls and mothers to celebrate each one of them. It was lovely and touching and very special. These girls are the best! Despite the scaffolding that has been a staple for way too many weeks I care to count, I always appreciate our coming-to-life spring yard. Everything is filling in nicely. It is amazing how big our trees and bushes have become in hardly no time! But that scaffolding! You can't really tell, but it is quite the maze to get in the front door. The porch area may need to be removed just so that people can enter safely on the Homecoming Day.  My friend Kelly reminded our CRU when we replaced our faces onto her family portrait when she arrived home from living abroad for a time. Happy Anniversary to Jon & Lindsey!

Happy 25 Years to us! We spent the weekend at Snowbird at the lovely resort. It was all so pretty! Our room had such gorgeous views of the mountainside. I texted this pic to Adren of Pfeifferhorn, a mountain he summited with his dad once. I looked at that, marveling that my boy has been there! We took the tram up to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views all around. One of the days it was nice to say, "The only thing on our schedule is a tram ride and dinner reservations". After so much hussle, it was nice to not have a whole lot to do. Chillin' with Jonny was really nice and good for us. It was a good reminder that we really enjoy each other. I mean, we knew that, but it is nice to spend a weekend together when you don't have a million other things going on.
