Life is real good, people. School is well under way now, and life is adjusting to the speed and urgency that requires. I'm enjoying getting my house back in order with small projects and organizing and having it all to myself again for a few hours a day.
I really chuckled at myself one day when Adren called me from the school to see if I wouldn't mind making he and Pedro a quick lunch. I think they were trying to figure out if they really had time to come home for lunch, or if they were too crunched for time. I amused myself, because I was delighted to drop whatever I was doing and get together a nice lunch for the two boys. I love them so.
They rushed in, ate as fast as they could and practically sprinted back to the school. Turns out there's really not enough time, and they've never done it since.
We've still got Zeke involved in these Pack meetings... I thought he looked so adorbs up there, with his new school shirt for picture day and floppy hair and his sweet smile. That boy...
Next up is the big Brazilian Festival at University Mall for all the Portuguese Immersion classes at Lakeview. Zeke was real excited to be a part in the parade with his pals.
But boy, are we a white society here in Orem, Utah. They probably felt like they were performing for a bunch of statues.
I told Paisley she really needed a good trim. She was happy to oblige.
Her hair looks so much thicker and shinier when it has a good trim, but she felt I cut off too much. She wants it long.
We are excited for Ben and Ashley Geertsen's marriage~ the very first on the Geertsen side! Paisley was so excited to attend her very first wedding ceremony and watched closely at every move.
Can you believe these are the only pictures I got??? Not even of the bride and groom, good grief.
We all had a good chuckle at Mallerie's picture she sent of herself zip lining. Just zoom in to her face. Awesome!
And finally, fall really is in the air. It is such a sweet feeling, isn't it? The mountains are beginning to change and the weather not quite as hot. We took a drive up Squaw Peak to take a closer look, and
Neighbor pal Landon really came in handy for these family pictures. And he's a sweetie.

Getting grouped together and T-shirted up at the head of the Parade.
I must admit, it was quite festive! The music was loud and thumping, and all the dancers were so energetic and engaging, it was hard not to bop along and clap and whoop as they paraded by.But boy, are we a white society here in Orem, Utah. They probably felt like they were performing for a bunch of statues.
Here comes Zeke and friends!
