Adren Aaron turns 15!

In those bags are lots of cool jeans, shirts and shoes. Because 15.
Our little A is fifteen!
Big fifteen, big Freshman at High School... I can't take it!
I definitely enjoy this boy more and more each year. I love our chats- I don't know if he would say the same, but I love talking with him when he's in the mood to talk. And that really does happen more than not. I like to think he listens to my advice- he's even asked for it once or twice (Whaaaaa???) And watching him reach 15 just makes me tickled to see him able to experience more freedoms and all that will come with this year.
We all love our big brother!
He's got some great friends as well- and they are fun to watch grow up!
They came over to wish him a happy day.
Neighborhood pals Pedro and Ryan. Such adorable boys!                                                                                                      And doesn't Adren look soooooo cuuuuute in his new Birthday clothes?
That night he and a group of friends went clear up to SLC to go to Fear Factory, a really scary Haunted House. I was glad I didn't need to drive them, thankfully another friends parents did that. He said all they hype is for real. It's real scary.
HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY, ADREN! WE LOVE YOU!

Then Paisley and I snuck away to the General Women's Conference which was so good and then we went out to dinner together, and I feel like I am the luckiest to have this little gal.

The Exciting and Miscellaneous

Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. Maybe it is because it is kid number four, but I have all the confidence in him. What a guy! We had a fun family gathering at Cash's house. Fun because ALL of the Boc's were there. They haven't all been together for years- like since before Grayson's mission. They all gathered for Matt and Abby's 30th anniversary! Sooo sweet. Look at this bunch! I love this average summer day in the Geertsen household. I am working in my bathroom. I will share my game plan directly... Jonny... P-Day phone calls with Adren are the best. He just gets whomever is around, sometimes it's just the Parentals. I took this screenshot of Cade, Ashley and Jon all on Mount Timp! Many in the family joined that day. This is the second summit on that mountain in a month for Jonny! Just a pretty screenshot from the doorbell cam.   Paisley has been asked to Prom b...

May Celebrations and Love!

Our little Paisley and all of her little friends are graduating from High School and all of us mothers cannot believe it! My dear friend and current Young Women's President, Elin, set up a beautiful evening for the girls and mothers to celebrate each one of them. It was lovely and touching and very special. These girls are the best! Despite the scaffolding that has been a staple for way too many weeks I care to count, I always appreciate our coming-to-life spring yard. Everything is filling in nicely. It is amazing how big our trees and bushes have become in hardly no time! But that scaffolding! You can't really tell, but it is quite the maze to get in the front door. The porch area may need to be removed just so that people can enter safely on the Homecoming Day.  My friend Kelly reminded our CRU when we replaced our faces onto her family portrait when she arrived home from living abroad for a time. We so funny! More windows being installed. Hooray! I snapped these as I headed...

Happy Anniversary to Jon & Lindsey!

Happy 25 Years to us! We spent the weekend at Snowbird at the lovely resort. It was all so pretty! Our room had such gorgeous views of the mountainside. I texted this pic to Adren of Pfeifferhorn, a mountain he summited with his dad once. I looked at that, marveling that my boy has been there! We took the tram up to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views all around. One of the days it was nice to say, "The only thing on our schedule is a tram ride and dinner reservations". After so much hussle, it was nice to not have a whole lot to do. Chillin' with Jonny was really nice and good for us. It was a good reminder that we really enjoy each other. I mean, we knew that, but it is nice to spend a weekend together when you don't have a million other things going on. When we got back, I dived right back into our big event at work, our annual Give Hope Gala. This one was fun because Jon got to attend with me. It was a fun evening with him and my work friends. Off we ...
