A little Fall breaky

A quick get-away to St. George during fall break with the family was lovely.
We arrived in the evening and I ran to the nearby grocery store to get some things. Paisley was just amazed the bakery had a cake with OUR name on it! "Happy Fall Break, Geertsen's!"
The weather was so gorgeous, and it was lovely to just relax and be together. I always feel like fall break comes right when homework and getting up early starts to get intense. So it's a much needed break.

We found some fun local hiking. There really is nothing like climbing those red rocks!

I love Zekey peeking up here.
Jon took the kids for a spin in Grandpa's convertible with the top down. I heard Paisley excitedly say to Zeke as they were backing down the steep driveway and cold-e-sac, "I'm going to put my hands in the air!"
Everyone insists on cramming on the pullout couch instead of taking a bedroom!
We walked the beautiful St. George temple grounds and visitors center.

I think Paisley was needing some lunch at this point.
I knew once we got back we'd be in full preparations for Halloween: costumes, party, decorating etc. ~And then the Holidays are here! Life is sure whipping by fast!
