Of course I had to blast that song the morning of the big Eclipse! I belted away in the hallway to get the kids up. It was amazing and they loved every second of it. It was all very exciting! The night before I told Jon I was tempted to get the kids up early and just book it to Idaho to see the full Eclipse! He talked me down, but I really wish I'd just done it. It was really, really neat in Provo Utah, so I can only imagine the spectacular show in total eclipse places.
I texted Jon this when it started happening:
This is my little pin-hole self made viewing paper. It was so cool! The next pictures are cool only to me, because I was there and I remember how neat and different everything felt:
Everything got so dark! But the sky was clear and blue. It almost seemed hazy. You wouldn't totally notice a big difference if it was just a regular day. I watched all the excitement on the news while running in and outside.
Jon was in the area and popped in at home and we marveled together.
It was really neat, even in Provo, Utah, a partial Eclipse!
