Paisley is doing the splits! She also does cartwheels all day long. It's a delight! She comes inside to ask me a question or to just get a drink and does two in a row across the floor. She does one on her way out the car. She does a one hand cartwheel down the grocery store isle. She does a million in a row across the front yard.
We got to have the Taylor kids over for the day while Cade and Ashley hiked Timp with others in the family. The girls got ready and kept asking me to take their pictures.
We sure had fun hanging with cousins all day!
Eli is very possessive of the money he earns. He is always hiding his wallet so no one takes it. This is usually a problem when he wants to bring it somewhere and can't remember where he's hid it. I found it one time...
A little after school treat and love note:
Fun at the local park to burn off some steam. It seems all that sitting in school is a hard adjustment at the beginning of the year.
And Zeke can scale those monkey bars like no other!
Grandpa planned a really neat day to go see the Ogden Temple before it is dedicated. We all met at Trax and rode up together. What a gorgeous building! I'm so grateful my kids got to see it, and were able to see it with family. One thing that stuck with me is the answer to how people question why the church spends so much money on the finest materials and quality for their temples? Why does the church insist on perfection in every detail? It is because we are counting on these temples to last to the Millennium. They must withstand time until the Savoir returns to live on Earth again. I thought about that, and thought about how at that time the Earth will change~ we will change. The temples reflect that change that will occur. We will continue to be busy at work inside those temples, and the beauty and craftsmanship will reflect the Earth.
Afterwards we walked to get some lunch. It started pouring rain as we waited for the bus to take us back to Trax. Our group was very wild and crazy and wet.
We were able to squeeze in one more swim party when celebrating little Cal and Ivy at the Taylor's neighborhood pool. It was cold but fun and officially marked the last outdoor swim day of 2014!
Happy Birthday, little babies!
Back-to-school mornings are in full steam~ and getting a little chilly! The kids looked cute snuggled together by the fire eating their oatmeal before dad drops them off.
And finally, a sweet moment of all four playing happily together on a random evening. I love when they get together and get creative and I can hear giggles and talking and everyone is getting along.
