He'd been hanging on the top of the swing set and when he dropped, he landed on his elbow. This, of course has been done 958 times all summer, but it takes one wrong landing...
The trauma really tuckered him out.
When Jon got home I knew I had quite the night ahead of me. Back and forth to the Dr's office and hospital for X-rays, but finally everyone could agree there was indeed a break and it needed a splint until it could be cast.
The next day he wanted to be sure he could still play with a splint, so the dino play land was in order.
It was a pretty bad break with lots of swelling so we crossed our fingers surgery would not be necessary.
He had a color picked for his cast before we even got to the office, but once he saw the camo, he changed his mind. "Adren and Eli are going to LOVE my cast!"
And they did! They really did.
