Ahhh, such mixed emotions when summer draws to a close. I am excited for the kids to start a new year and reunite with friends, and experience all of the joys and challenges of school. I am excited for myself to get some order back into the house and a little free time. But these lazy days, sleeping in, staying up late, doing whatever we want are coming to an end.
I take each kid out one on one to look at school clothes, shoes, backpacks etc. One on one is my favorite. Little Paisley was all over the clothes and shoes, unlike her brothers. She wanted me to take pictures of how things looked on her.

Everyone was excited for back to school night. Adren's fourth grade teacher is Mrs. Wing, Eli is in 3rd grade with Mrs. Arney (Adren's teacher from last year, she is wonderful) and Paisley in big first grade with Mrs. Moser. All their teachers are really great!

I took them on their first day. I like to make sure everyone can find their rooms~ it can be a little tricky to remember! I could not leave that school! I had to make one more lap and peek at everyone one more time.
Little Paisley loves her new clothes, and every morning comes downstairs for breakfast with new combinations~ and her hair! Always something real interesting~ and real darling!
