I was with Paisley and Zeke after preschool one day~ It was gorgeous weather and everyone was hungry. I grabbed lunch and just didn't want to go home, and was trying to think of a place in the Provo area we could pic-nic. Granny and Grandpa's, of course! I wasn't sure if anyone would be there- it was empty and locked up. I didn't mind. We sat on the front lawn chairs, and just took it all in. Sitting there, I could feel the leftover love and memories that lingered. I was so teary walking around the property. I could just imagine Granny coming out, picture her welcoming voice, offering us some lunch. I thought of the hours of labor Grandpa has spent in that yard and irrigating and the orchard. I loved being there, in the quiet, just walking around and taking it all in.
Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. Maybe it is because it is kid number four, but I have all the confidence in him. What a guy! We had a fun family gathering at Cash's house. Fun because ALL of the Boc's were there. They haven't all been together for years- like since before Grayson's mission. They all gathered for Matt and Abby's 30th anniversary! Sooo sweet. Look at this bunch! I love this average summer day in the Geertsen household. I am working in my bathroom. I will share my game plan directly... Jonny... P-Day phone calls with Adren are the best.
