Seeing Eli grinning ear to ear in his bunny hat, belting away the songs he's learned was so cute I could barely stand it! I catch him sometimes in play, singing softly. I love his voice.
He's had a great year. His teacher, Mrs. Clark has been wonderful. Eli caught on to reading so well, it seems he can read pretty much anything. It's funny how fast they take off once they learn the basics. He learns all his subjects quickly, it seems, and likes to talk about them. He checks out books about bugs or animals or sports and likes to sit with me and we learn together.
He was so excited to spot us in the crowd. It was just me, Paisley and Zeke. But he was thrilled.
They had the children come out to the audience and grab a family member to join them for the Bunny Hop. I was holding a sleeping Zeke at that point, but Paisley was a very willing participant.
Eli is pure love and joy. He's positive, happy, smart, sensitive and creative. I love watching this little person develop and learn. I tell him our family is extra special because of him.
And Zeke woke up!
