I had the trusty green food dye out and close at hand for this day. I quickly colored the tanks of the toilets~ (actually, I dripped in blue)
That morning we were all in the kitchen making breakfast, I dyed the french toast green.
Eli wanted to make a bowl of porage. (this is what we call Cream of Wheat) While it was cooking, I quickly and discreetly opened the microwave and added a drop of green. He was very suprised to see how sneaky leprechauns can be. He immediately made another bowl, started watching the microwave, but was easily distracted and I did it again!
I ended up having to make up a bit of work that day, so the little leprechauns didn't make it out~ much to the kids dismay. Oh, well. Maybe next year!
