I set out treats of love for everyone, including Ella, which is pretty exciting~
I thought this was so cute~ Ella still has texts from her and Adren from way back. It is very sweet they have reconnected like they have!
Jon and I went out with friends Ellen and Ken to celebrate Valentines Day, as well as both of their birthdays. We saw "Greased" at the Desert Star Playhouse in Murray. The play was a spoof on the movie, and was pretty funny! I hadn't seen Ellen for quite some time, even though Jon hikes and goes on guys trips with Ken. It was fun to catch up, they are real fun people!
During our 1:1, Erin and I were thrilled to see the first snow of the season happening right then. AND IT WAS STICKING! I thought how normally I would not be so thrilled to see snow mid-February, but considering we haven't seen any snow this year, it was very exciting!I was excited to attend the open house at The Wild Oak, the venue we will be holding the wedding luncheon and reception. Shelley, the owner, and Julie's dear friend since Elementary School, was so kind to show us all of the items we will have at our disposal. We only need to pay for items we use (like candles) or linen service if we use the linens. She is so generous, it was inspiring to see their sweet friendship and feel their history together.
It is going to be a gorgeous event! Very Ripley!
And they got their cute photos taken to announce their engagement. Silly me, thought these were the actual engagement photos. No-no. Those are yet to be scheduled. Things are real different from my days of wedding planning. I love it all!
