My CRU and I have been talking about investing in a nearby apartment together that we can each take turns at when we need "alone" time, but not mention it to anyone. What a surprise that could be for our kids after we die! It got us talking about all sorts of secrets we could have that would be fun for family to discover post-mortem. I had to send them that above meme I came across. It's right up our alley!
She's really nailing that winged eyeliner!
I had them clean it up and told my kids I need to take a break from them for a bit. (By a bit I might mean forever-?) Dear, dear.
Soooo sweet. I got to go to lunch with my CRU that day. I give them a little gift on my birthday, since gift-giving at Christmas tends to stress me out. Its usually just something little I'm enjoying at the time. I gave them sweat wrist-bands to put on when they wash their face/ brush teeth so water doesn't run down your arm and get your sleeve wet. They've really been a hit.
Check out Zeke's brightness as we go for a winter walk!

Jonny did me right and brought home Papa Murphy's Pizza and Crumble!
Strange to think we are still very much in the times of Corona. It could be worse, and I am so grateful for our health and safety, a hard-working Jonny, kids around with good attitudes, and pretty much an unfettered lifestyle.
We have learned, however that we will not be gathering for Thanksgiving this year. We will miss being with family on this day, but also looking forward to doing our own thing. Life is good!
