Shafer and Lindsey invited us up to their home on Christmas Eve for a lovely dinner. Their house looked so darling and cheery, and it was so exciting to all be together! Cade and Ashley and Granny and Grandpa were also there and made it extra festive. After dinner we iced cookies and watched Luke 2 together. The Taylor's are so nice to host us all! Soon enough it was time to head home. We gathered in the front room around the tree and opened our Christmas PJ's. I made all the boys matching panda print pants and Paisley and I matching swan pants, plus one other pair of PJ pants. They turned out a little wacky~ I laughed so hard when Jon put his on. Waaaaaaaay too big. I may retire the homemade PJ's.
Let's remember where we left off: Sookie watching and waiting while a soft snow fell.
If you look closely at these pictures, you can see Adren and Eli wizzing by on their electric scooters!

And the magic arrives!
It's so neat how we wake every Christmas Day to fresh snow!

And then comes the relaxed, content, messy house I relish in for days.
Zeke made the Jenga tower stand on one peg!
So much playing of the piano.... and napping.
So very much to be grateful for, feeling so content and at peace, so happy to be surrounded by loving family~ these are the precious years!
Merry Christmas to all!
