Ahh, summer. Love it. We've spent many a day at the pool, since June's temps sky-rocketed to the high 90's to triple digits immediately. Youth Conference was the second week of June, stake-run this year and local, so that was nice. We did some service projects, missionary training and swimming. It was good!
I've loved Eli's long hair. But, suddenly I was over it. He was, too and apparently was just waiting for school to get out to cut it all off. Those high temps made it extra inviting, I'm sure.

| That's a lot of hair! |
Eli has some serious cutie-pie going on.
 |
| He wanted "stripes" on the side. |
And then Adren got a summer haircut, handsome boy. He
still hates getting haircuts and fights me the whole time~ 30 seconds in, "Are you done
yet???"

Brett came over and the boys got to spend the day together. They seemed to have a hard time finding something to do, and were hungry, of course. So I took them through Wendy's drive through down at the corner and suggested they walk home. What else are they gonna do???

| See ya! |
Jon got started on a clubhouse for the kids. He's got big plans... I'm wondering if it's going to need a building permit. Or at least an "ok" from the neighbors~?
Jon's producing more beautiful pictures:
.... and outings with a random kid every now and then...
Seriously, this boy!
Day camps and den hikes have started up, counted down to, and thoroughly enjoyed. (This should be a once a week thing in the summer, I say)
We've started it off on the right foot!
