For the beauty

I was able to meet up with my wonderful family on a gorgeous May evening at the Oquirrh Mountain temple to be with Katrina while she went through for the first time. We had just been able to go through with Romney in the Mount Timpanogos temple. This was such a neat experience. As I drove up to meet everyone the traffic was pretty stop and go, and I kept taking the wrong turns and winding all over the place. I could see the temple as I would get on a road that would lead me way off. I was a bit panicked and frazzled when I parked but tried to tell myself I could just do initiatories and it would all be fine. I quickly dressed and could not believe it when I entered the chapel to find everyone there! I even had time to spare. It was so neat to all be together, what a beautiful temple!
 Speaking of beautiful places where the Lord's hand is apparent, I love these pictures that Jon captures while he's out on his hikes. So stunning! I love to print and frame them around the house.

 Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. Maybe it is because it is kid number four, but I have all the confidence in him. What a guy! We had a fun family gathering at Cash's house. Fun because ALL of the Boc's were there. May Celebrations and Love!

Our little Paisley and all of her little friends are graduating from High School and all of us mothers cannot believe it! My dear friend and current Young Women's President, Elin, set up a beautiful evening for the girls and mothers to celebrate each one of them. It was lovely and touching and very special. These girls are the best! Despite the scaffolding that has been a staple for way too many weeks I care to count, I always appreciate our coming-to-life spring yard. Everything is filling in nicely. It is amazing how big our trees and bushes have become in hardly no time! But that scaffolding! You can't really tell, but it is quite the maze to get in the front door. The porch area may need to be removed just so that people can enter safely on the Homecoming Day.  My friend Kelly reminded our CRU when we replaced our faces onto her family portrait when she arrived home from living abroad for a time. Happy Anniversary to Jon & Lindsey!

Happy 25 Years to us! We spent the weekend at Snowbird at the lovely resort. It was all so pretty! Our room had such gorgeous views of the mountainside. I texted this pic to Adren of Pfeifferhorn, a mountain he summited with his dad once. I looked at that, marveling that my boy has been there! We took the tram up to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views all around. One of the days it was nice to say, "The only thing on our schedule is a tram ride and dinner reservations". After so much hussle, it was nice to not have a whole lot to do. Chillin' with Jonny was really nice and good for us. It was a good reminder that we really enjoy each other. I mean, we knew that, but it is nice to spend a weekend together when you don't have a million other things going on.
