Paisley's Baptism and Confirmation Day!

Paisley was so sweet on her big day! She was so excited, could not believe the day had finally arrived and although she had seen her dress briefly to make sure it would fit, was so excited to see it all laid out for her that morning!
She looked so beautiful!
As we walked over to the church she skipped along by my side saying, "I can't believe the day finally is here!"
But first, more pictures!

Zeke here. Ha!

I asked Adren and Eli to give talks, and they happily obliged. They really did a great job! All the sweet little cousins got up and sang some sweet Primary songs during the reverent waiting time. It was so special to watch at the top of the font stairs as Paisley took a glance back at me and smiled so big! Afterwards as I helped her dry off and back into her dress I was so teary! Between the sweet moment and hearing all the cousins in the next room softly singing Primary songs it was such a special moment, one of those times I'll tuck away with the most special times with Paisley.

We were a little early so Eli thought he'd practice a little.
Our loving, supportive, forever family! These people are most precious to me!
Afterwards we all met up at the Pizza Pie Cafe. It was great! We had our own big room and plenty of pizza and drinks for the kids to go back for more and more.

It was such a special day. Us sisters and Mommy and a few nieces were even able to sneak away to the Beehive Bazaar for a wee bit while the boys hung out at the house.
Here's some sweet shots of Paisley with the grandparents~ We love you Paisley!

The Exciting and Miscellaneous

Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. Maybe it is because it is kid number four, but I have all the confidence in him. What a guy! We had a fun family gathering at Cash's house. Fun because ALL of the Boc's were there. They haven't all been together for years- like since before Grayson's mission. They all gathered for Matt and Abby's 30th anniversary! Sooo sweet. Look at this bunch! I love this average summer day in the Geertsen household. I am working in my bathroom. I will share my game plan directly... Jonny... P-Day phone calls with Adren are the best. He just gets whomever is around, sometimes it's just the Parentals. I took this screenshot of Cade, Ashley and Jon all on Mount Timp! Many in the family joined that day. This is the second summit on that mountain in a month for Jonny! Just a pretty screenshot from the doorbell cam.   Paisley has been asked to Prom b...

May Celebrations and Love!

Our little Paisley and all of her little friends are graduating from High School and all of us mothers cannot believe it! My dear friend and current Young Women's President, Elin, set up a beautiful evening for the girls and mothers to celebrate each one of them. It was lovely and touching and very special. These girls are the best! Despite the scaffolding that has been a staple for way too many weeks I care to count, I always appreciate our coming-to-life spring yard. Everything is filling in nicely. It is amazing how big our trees and bushes have become in hardly no time! But that scaffolding! You can't really tell, but it is quite the maze to get in the front door. The porch area may need to be removed just so that people can enter safely on the Homecoming Day.  My friend Kelly reminded our CRU when we replaced our faces onto her family portrait when she arrived home from living abroad for a time. We so funny! More windows being installed. Hooray! I snapped these as I headed...

Happy Anniversary to Jon & Lindsey!

Happy 25 Years to us! We spent the weekend at Snowbird at the lovely resort. It was all so pretty! Our room had such gorgeous views of the mountainside. I texted this pic to Adren of Pfeifferhorn, a mountain he summited with his dad once. I looked at that, marveling that my boy has been there! We took the tram up to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views all around. One of the days it was nice to say, "The only thing on our schedule is a tram ride and dinner reservations". After so much hussle, it was nice to not have a whole lot to do. Chillin' with Jonny was really nice and good for us. It was a good reminder that we really enjoy each other. I mean, we knew that, but it is nice to spend a weekend together when you don't have a million other things going on. When we got back, I dived right back into our big event at work, our annual Give Hope Gala. This one was fun because Jon got to attend with me. It was a fun evening with him and my work friends. Off we ...
