Memorial Day

I always look forward to this day to gather with family. We all meet up at the Provo Cemetary and gather around Grandma Taylor's grave.
My sisters and I bring baby wipes and show the kids how we cleaned off the graves when we were little, and now they must do it, too. They sort of oblige.
Linda came, of course. It is always great to get a hug from her. After wards we came back here and had a great lunch and the cousins were in heaven running around together.
Lot's of chatting and laughter.
I really love having a reason to have family over and I happen to have a great one. I love watching the cousins run and play and form memories of holidays and being together. As I get older I appreciate these times and love that my kids look forward to these gatherings.
That evening after everyone left I remember feeling full of gratitude for my life, my family and these opportunities to be together.

 Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. May Celebrations and Love!

Our little Paisley and all of her little friends are graduating from High School and all of us mothers cannot believe it! My dear friend and current Young Women's President, Elin, set up a beautiful evening for the girls and mothers to celebrate each one of them. It was lovely and touching and very special. These girls are the best! Despite the scaffolding that has been a staple for way too many weeks I care to count, I always appreciate our coming-to-life spring yard. Everything is filling in nicely. It is amazing how big our trees and bushes have become in hardly no time! But that scaffolding! You can't really tell, but it is quite the maze to get in the front door. The porch area may need to be removed just so that people can enter safely on the Homecoming Day.  My friend Kelly reminded our CRU when we replaced our faces onto her family portrait when she arrived home from living abroad for a time. Happy Anniversary to Jon & Lindsey!

Happy 25 Years to us! We spent the weekend at Snowbird at the lovely resort. It was all so pretty! Our room had such gorgeous views of the mountainside. I texted this pic to Adren of Pfeifferhorn, a mountain he summited with his dad once. I looked at that, marveling that my boy has been there! We took the tram up to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views all around. One of the days it was nice to say, "The only thing on our schedule is a tram ride and dinner reservations". After so much hussle, it was nice to not have a whole lot to do. Chillin' with Jonny was really nice and good for us. It was a good reminder that we really enjoy each other. I mean, we knew that, but it is nice to spend a weekend together when you don't have a million other things going on.
