I love how there is always someone checking around to make sure the fingers they are holding up are the right amount.
Oh, yeah! Grayson was staying over!
Eli is never real specific on what he'd like. Which is great! I know he loves to build and create things. He likes to be surprised.
Jon took everyone to the boys soccer game~ I sent birthday treat bags for him to pass out to his team. I mean, you always want everyone to know when it's your birthday, right?
Then party bagan!
I always start the kids out back with a run-around-screaming type of activity....
These punching balloons never dissapoint. Then on to a craft. I had remembered making these "Hackey Sacks" when I was in scouts. You just fill a balloon with bird seed, and cover it with another balloon. This reminded me an awful lot of Angry Birds....
So the kids drew faces on them! Of course, every kid knew exactly what Angry Birds were.
Time for the game! Knock down the pigs with your bird!
Good times for sure! Then a little water gun fight...
And on to inside for a staple game for us. I played this at my own birthday parties. I like it because the kids have to be quiet, there is no talking with this game as they quietly walk around trying to find the items hidden around the rooms.
Gift time!
What a peachy-pie little Eli is! He is always so happy and excited about everythign! He had a great day, and just can't believe he is finally seven! He's got a fun group of friends he plays with. I love watching Eli play and run around, and I can almost see his brain collecting all of these memories he's experiencing. He's a real swell kid and we LOVE him to pieces!
P.S. Do you ever play so hard you pass out in the middle of chewing your dinner???
