| The cake! |
We sent out some invites~ Eli decided he wanted to take friends back to Nickle City!
It was a crazy, fun party. Sooo many little boys came- I think Eli invited a few more than we had written down. Our friends in the ward were so very kind and generous and gave us a discount. The boys played games, laser tag, we had cake and ice cream, opened gifts and Eli thought it a success!

| Eli approved of it all! |
Eli has the best attitude! He's always happy to go along with Dad on his hikes, he finds humor in things- he has a really great sense of humor. He spends most of his time playing with friends- riding bikes all over the place or his penny board, playing Mine Craft, drawing, building Lego's- this is still something he spends a lot of his time on, and I love when he brings me his creative creations to show me what he's been working on. At night if he comes and crawls in bed with me, I know he just wants to talk and be together for a bit, and I'm always happy to spend that time with him. School still comes easy to him, he seems to catch on quickly and has been able to help other kids in his class with math this year. He has a kind heart, still gives the tightest hugs, and I'm just crazy about him. He wrote me a little love note on my phone that I read often, it makes my heart skip a beat.
Love you, Eli!
