A few of my favorite things~ one being spring has sprung! Longer days, warmer weather, excitement in the air for the school year drawing closer to an end!
Zeke opened a picture of a bike in the hotel room on his birthday. One he could go pick out himself when we got back home. He really wanted that bike in the exact photo. Jon took him out and I think he found it!
We love when Granny and Grandpa stop by. We noticed Adren is just about Granny's height! I love this photo!
I also love this photo of Eli~ so very much. Jon shot it while hiking with Eli. We don't call him dreamy for nothing.

Paisley's 3rd grade had it's first Wax Museum. She chose Louisa May Alcott and I had fun finding some clothing at D.I. and altering it to fit her. I thought she looked so cute! She memorized and practiced, and we finally decided on a very abbreviated version of information. She did great!
As did pal Esme as Einstein.
Then a little after school snacky.
Speaking of school, we are excited to watch the new Provo High School evolve. Here's some before pics, it will never look the same!

Adren and friends have enjoyed exploring that little abandoned house.

The ground has been broken.

Adren, Eli and Pedro were all able to play on the same soccer team this year. They were so much fun to watch and had a great season.

Then it was time for Adren's country report. He and friends chose Peru and worked together to get their report ready for presenting. I helped pour the Inka Cola!
These days at the Elementary are numbered.
I have enjoyed teaching the Great Artist Program in Zeke's first grade class. Well- most mornings were a little rushed and frazzling, but overall it was a good time! I like knowing his classmates, and he loved having me there. I displayed the years worth of art the kids created.
I was also able to help chaperone at Paisley's class field trip to Diamond Fork.

Paisley continues to be an absolute doll.

The Exciting and Miscellaneous

Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. Maybe it is because it is kid number four, but I have all the confidence in him. What a guy! We had a fun family gathering at Cash's house. Fun because ALL of the Boc's were there. They haven't all been together for years- like since before Grayson's mission. They all gathered for Matt and Abby's 30th anniversary! Sooo sweet. Look at this bunch! I love this average summer day in the Geertsen household. I am working in my bathroom. I will share my game plan directly... Jonny... P-Day phone calls with Adren are the best. He just gets whomever is around, sometimes it's just the Parentals. I took this screenshot of Cade, Ashley and Jon all on Mount Timp! Many in the family joined that day. This is the second summit on that mountain in a month for Jonny! Just a pretty screenshot from the doorbell cam.   Paisley has been asked to Prom b...

May Celebrations and Love!

Our little Paisley and all of her little friends are graduating from High School and all of us mothers cannot believe it! My dear friend and current Young Women's President, Elin, set up a beautiful evening for the girls and mothers to celebrate each one of them. It was lovely and touching and very special. These girls are the best! Despite the scaffolding that has been a staple for way too many weeks I care to count, I always appreciate our coming-to-life spring yard. Everything is filling in nicely. It is amazing how big our trees and bushes have become in hardly no time! But that scaffolding! You can't really tell, but it is quite the maze to get in the front door. The porch area may need to be removed just so that people can enter safely on the Homecoming Day.  My friend Kelly reminded our CRU when we replaced our faces onto her family portrait when she arrived home from living abroad for a time. We so funny! More windows being installed. Hooray! I snapped these as I headed...

Happy Anniversary to Jon & Lindsey!

Happy 25 Years to us! We spent the weekend at Snowbird at the lovely resort. It was all so pretty! Our room had such gorgeous views of the mountainside. I texted this pic to Adren of Pfeifferhorn, a mountain he summited with his dad once. I looked at that, marveling that my boy has been there! We took the tram up to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views all around. One of the days it was nice to say, "The only thing on our schedule is a tram ride and dinner reservations". After so much hussle, it was nice to not have a whole lot to do. Chillin' with Jonny was really nice and good for us. It was a good reminder that we really enjoy each other. I mean, we knew that, but it is nice to spend a weekend together when you don't have a million other things going on. When we got back, I dived right back into our big event at work, our annual Give Hope Gala. This one was fun because Jon got to attend with me. It was a fun evening with him and my work friends. Off we ...
