It was a late, rushed morning on St. Patty's. There were Leprechaun's hidden and green toilets, but no time for anything else. I tossed the kids in the car for a quick stop to the corner store on the way to school:
I was chatting with a friend that day, and she told me she always feels like a bad mom at this point in the school year because she has stopped making breakfast, doing hair and the kids are always late. I told her I took my kids to the corner store for breakfast that morning and she thanked me for making her feel better. Ha!
(I actually do make the kids breakfast every. single. morning. it's usually quick eggs and toast.)
I really did go all out when they came home from school though! (don't worry, I didn't mention this part to my friend)
