School!

This has been a really great school year! I love having all four at Lakeview, all day. I volunteer a bit (I was going to say as much as I can- but that's not true. I volunteer a little. A friend gave me some good advice that has helped me. She said that first year all your kids are in school all day, you should take it easy. Enjoy it. Don't pile up too much, and just enjoy those hours each day to do what you need to do, it's been a long time coming and you've earned them.) I go in Zeke's class once a month and teach the Great Artist Program. I help chaperone field trips when they come up. I sign up for the random Holiday party here and there. With just that, I do feel like I'm at the school all the time. It's good!
Adren was involved in the big Sixth grade Science Fair this year. He chose to see how different liquids evaporate and tracked it.

He kept the cups in different window sills to see if full sun evaporated faster. One thing I discovered is milk molds and becomes a solid before it evaporates. Fascinating :/
That morning Pedro arrived with very precarious glasses filled with dark liquids, balancing on his books as he walked, his poster tucked under one arm. I got him a box to put his glasses in, but between the two boys the ride to school was quite an adventure. I was glad to see everything made it and got set up and they did great!

All the cuties piled in our bed watching a show after homework is completed on a school night.
We managed to fit in the River Woods and see the lights and festivities going on. They were shooting a Christmas video and it was crazy busy, drones flying overhead. The kids got some good ideas to add to their Christmas lists at Blickenstaffs, so it was a very productive evening.

I made a heat/rice bag for my secretary who had just had a pretty major surgery. Heat is very healing, you know.

Paisley and I enjoying the Norman Rockwell Exhibit at BYU on her class field trip. This would be my second field trip to this exhibit, the first was with Eli's class. Three times overall. Good thing I really like Norman Rockwell!
Eli the cutie pie in his 5th grade program. What a darling, really.
Wonderful teachers, great improvements, fun friends~ overall, we're loving this year!
