The exterior of our house is great! BUT, it could look better. After 25 years, there are some windows that need replacing, which got us thinking about doing black frames and different grids. If we replace the windows in front, we'll need to repair the stucco... If we are repairing the stucco, we may as well replace the warped, chipped siding with fresh stucco. The thought of no siding makes me giddy!
I drew up a rendering to show Jonny how much more fresh things would look with these upgrades. Cute, eh?
While he's doing a great job, I feel my nerves are done having people in my house all day. Tony wants to do our finish work and paint as well. As tempting as that is- I need a little break! I told him his deadline to be finished is by the time we head out of town for our Christmas Cruise. He tried to push it to the day we leave, and I told him no- I need to be able to clean up a little before we head out! I found myself counting down each day, so anxious for him to be done, cleaned up and gone. He did it! Phew!

Ahhh, this drywall business is no joke. Tony is not able to be here as much as we'd like. He has several jobs going. He keeps pushing things into the next week. It is so stressful to have them here, spreading dust, working up in Paisley's room, under the stairs, repairing around the fireplace- as well as the new room.

This marks a big milestone! We are now able to do the rest of the interior work on our own (gulp).
