I follow the Food Nanny account for recipes and good cheer and was delighted to see lovely Landrie on her story- her mom is currently serving a mission in Landrie's same mission! So fun- and cute!

Each month our CRU gathers and we thought it would be fun to have one of us take a month and teach each other something. You may remember last time was Diana teaching us all things skincare. I piggy-backed off of hers and taught makeup techniques. I had recipes of several different drinks and ingredients on the table with snickety snacks while I demonstrated a simple every day look. My gals don't wear much makeup, but they were real interested and they all looked so lovely afterwards. It was fun to chat and sip and share tips. I sure love these ladies! (We missed Elizabeth).

Spring is finally in the air freshening and tidying~

Adren and friends know his days are numbered and love to spend time together when they can. They usually go golfing or fishing. His good buddy Drew has been around for years and is now entertaining a mission. We'll see... he'd be so great!

I was so happy to attend one of my girls receptions, Madelyn! I remember her giving me updates on her guy in High School. Now they are both back from missions and ready for marriage. I get to work with Madelyn now, her mom Mary is one of my dearest friends, and Diana dear did all the flowers- they looked beautiful! It was a lovely party.

The Exciting and Miscellaneous

Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. Maybe it is because it is kid number four, but I have all the confidence in him. What a guy! We had a fun family gathering at Cash's house. Fun because ALL of the Boc's were there. They haven't all been together for years- like since before Grayson's mission. They all gathered for Matt and Abby's 30th anniversary! Sooo sweet. Look at this bunch! I love this average summer day in the Geertsen household. I am working in my bathroom. I will share my game plan directly... Jonny... P-Day phone calls with Adren are the best. May Celebrations and Love!

Our little Paisley and all of her little friends are graduating from High School and all of us mothers cannot believe it! My dear friend and current Young Women's President, Elin, set up a beautiful evening for the girls and mothers to celebrate each one of them. It was lovely and touching and very special. These girls are the best! Despite the scaffolding that has been a staple for way too many weeks I care to count, I always appreciate our coming-to-life spring yard. Everything is filling in nicely. It is amazing how big our trees and bushes have become in hardly no time! But that scaffolding! You can't really tell, but it is quite the maze to get in the front door. The porch area may need to be removed just so that people can enter safely on the Homecoming Day. My friend Kelly reminded our CRU when we replaced our faces onto her family portrait when she arrived home from living abroad for a time. We so funny! More windows being installed. Hooray! Happy Anniversary to Jon & Lindsey!

Happy 25 Years to us! We spent the weekend at Snowbird at the lovely resort. It was all so pretty! Our room had such gorgeous views of the mountainside. I texted this pic to Adren of Pfeifferhorn, a mountain he summited with his dad once. I looked at that, marveling that my boy has been there! We took the tram up to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views all around. One of the days it was nice to say, "The only thing on our schedule is a tram ride and dinner reservations". After so much hussle, it was nice to not have a whole lot to do. Chillin' with Jonny was really nice and good for us. It was a good reminder that we really enjoy each other. I mean, we knew that, but it is nice to spend a weekend together when you don't have a million other things going on.
