This little guy finished his year of preschool with Mrs. Stephanie. Zeke is a smart, friendly and confident 5 year old. He almost seems too old for kindergarten, like he could skip ahead to first grade!
He was real proud to finish and is excited that this means summer!Zeke can be a little mischievous, and has oodles of curiosity. One evening I was rushing over to the church to get ready for a Relief Society activity I was helping with. As I went out to the garage I noticed some white spray paint had been painted on the garage floor. As I made my way to the church, I could see some white paint had been sprayed on our lawn. Hmmmm.... As I cam across the neighbors yard, I could see some white smiley faces sprayed on two of their tree trunks. Zeke plays daily with the little girl, Abby. Right then Zeke and little friend came around the house with guilt written all over their faces, hiding something behind their backs. A white can of spray paint~ suprise! Jon and I talked about ways to remedy this situation, one of the things was Zeke needed to apologize. I suggested he write a card or letter. I thought what he came up with really showed his big personality, and sweetness.
We brought the card over with some treats and I let Zeke do all the talking. I'm grateful they were so nice and forgiving about it.
I misunderstood the dates to meet with family up at the SLC cemetery, which turned out to be so much fun for us anyway. We visited Granny and Grandpa Woolf, Elaine and families graves, visited City Creek park and ran through the fountains at Gateway. It was a great day!

Memorial Day is always a day I really look forward to being with my wonderful family and getting the kids together. We met up at Provo Cemetery where Grandma Taylor's grave is. The Gouldings were in town, it was great to see them- we picnicked at Kiwanis Park nearby and celebrated Daddy's birthday. We love you, Grandpa!!!
Because Zeke is now officially out of school, he wanted to hold a sale out front. He decorated some rocks with googly eyes and pipe cleaners. I could hear him hollering from inside the house, "Rocks for Sale, five cents!" He then moved to the corner to get more traffic. I think he sold all three!
And finally, the last day of school. It's been a really great year! As fun as it's been, we are all ready for a break from early mornings, schedules and that homework! Fourth grade was intense. What a group of sweet kids. I'm grateful for how hard they work and responsible they are getting. They each have had wonderful teachers. I can't believe I now have a kindergartner, a second grader, a fourth grader and a fifth grader! All together at Lakeview Elementary for the next two years. Wow~!
