All about Eli!

 Eli Taylor is now TWENTY!!!

In true Eli fashion, we didn't see much of him on his big day. He did get a sec to open his gifts- mainly fishing stuff. I love that he has dived into fishing and is gone most early mornings checking different places out. We took him out to dinner, our family's favorite sushi spot.  
I was curious where he ended up on his big day, off with his buddies. It made me smile to see that they were all at Nickel City. He's had so many birthday parties there over the years, and I love that is where he chose to spend big 20. 
Eli requested no-bake cheesecake for his birthday cake. He wasn't around to light it and sing, but over the next few days it got gobbled up. 
I am happy for Eli at this time in his life. He spends most of his free time with friends, fishing and camping. He goes to a lot of concerts, and I can always tell when he's home because I hear him strumming away on his guitar. He's in and out of different bands, which is fun for him. He makes me happy when he's around. He's a real sweetie, and I am the luckiest to be his mom :)

 Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. Maybe it is because it is kid number four, but I have all the confidence in him. What a guy! We had a fun family gathering at Cash's house. Fun because ALL of the Boc's were there. May Celebrations and Love!

Our little Paisley and all of her little friends are graduating from High School and all of us mothers cannot believe it! My dear friend and current Young Women's President, Elin, set up a beautiful evening for the girls and mothers to celebrate each one of them. It was lovely and touching and very special. These girls are the best! Despite the scaffolding that has been a staple for way too many weeks I care to count, I always appreciate our coming-to-life spring yard. Everything is filling in nicely. It is amazing how big our trees and bushes have become in hardly no time! But that scaffolding! You can't really tell, but it is quite the maze to get in the front door. The porch area may need to be removed just so that people can enter safely on the Homecoming Day.  My friend Kelly reminded our CRU when we replaced our faces onto her family portrait when she arrived home from living abroad for a time. Happy Anniversary to Jon & Lindsey!

Happy 25 Years to us! We spent the weekend at Snowbird at the lovely resort. It was all so pretty! Our room had such gorgeous views of the mountainside. I texted this pic to Adren of Pfeifferhorn, a mountain he summited with his dad once. I looked at that, marveling that my boy has been there! We took the tram up to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views all around. One of the days it was nice to say, "The only thing on our schedule is a tram ride and dinner reservations". After so much hussle, it was nice to not have a whole lot to do. Chillin' with Jonny was really nice and good for us. It was a good reminder that we really enjoy each other. I mean, we knew that, but it is nice to spend a weekend together when you don't have a million other things going on.
