Christmastime is here!

 Finally I found the time to get this place decked!

Jon, Paisley, Zeke and I went out one chilly night and found a delicious smelling tree.
I loved this tree so much! I didn't love the last couple of years trees. I didn't! Some years are like that.  But this year, I really made up for it!
I loved the fresh greens at Trader Joe's this year!





I scheduled an ugly sweater day at work for one of our meetings. Ya know, the office manager does those sorts of things.
I simmered Mary's gift and it filled the house. It even reached my closet upstairs. This smelled amazing!
I decked the outside and loved it so much!


This tree! Loved the smell, that it was non-crooked, that it was full, and looked so gorgeous with ribbons and sugared fruit.
I really loved relaxing in the evenings enjoying my tree.
I couldn't believe these ice sickles at Paisley's work. I have loved all the seasons at Jamestown as I drop her off at work. It very much has a "Gillmore Girls" vibe to it, we say.

 Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. May Celebrations and Love!

Our little Paisley and all of her little friends are graduating from High School and all of us mothers cannot believe it! My dear friend and current Young Women's President, Elin, set up a beautiful evening for the girls and mothers to celebrate each one of them. It was lovely and touching and very special. These girls are the best! Despite the scaffolding that has been a staple for way too many weeks I care to count, I always appreciate our coming-to-life spring yard. Everything is filling in nicely. It is amazing how big our trees and bushes have become in hardly no time! But that scaffolding! You can't really tell, but it is quite the maze to get in the front door. The porch area may need to be removed just so that people can enter safely on the Homecoming Day.  My friend Kelly reminded our CRU when we replaced our faces onto her family portrait when she arrived home from living abroad for a time. Happy Anniversary to Jon & Lindsey!

Happy 25 Years to us! We spent the weekend at Snowbird at the lovely resort. It was all so pretty! Our room had such gorgeous views of the mountainside. I texted this pic to Adren of Pfeifferhorn, a mountain he summited with his dad once. I looked at that, marveling that my boy has been there! We took the tram up to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views all around. One of the days it was nice to say, "The only thing on our schedule is a tram ride and dinner reservations". After so much hussle, it was nice to not have a whole lot to do. Chillin' with Jonny was really nice and good for us. It was a good reminder that we really enjoy each other. I mean, we knew that, but it is nice to spend a weekend together when you don't have a million other things going on.
