This ended up being a blast and even though I was on the fence going because last time was such an early frantic morning to catch trax, get kids together etc., I'm glad we went for it again. This time I just parked a block or two away on the street and we walked on over and met up with everyone. With the kids a few years older, it was a breeze. Jon had double booked himself that day with a hike and some sort of duck decorating/race with Paisley for her Activity Days so he was in full support of me taking the kids, so it all worked out. Between Sadie and Eliza we got in for
free! It was great to be with the family for the gorgeous day especially and the kids loved it all!

| I thought Eli's hair looked like clay. |
On the way out we stopped at a fountain to rinse off (cringe). Then met at Sugarhouse park with everyone for lunch.

Before heading out, I stopped at a gas station across the street to fill up the tank, fill our water bottles and let everyone go to the bathroom. We all piled in the car and just as I was about to merge onto the freeway I asked Zeke how he liked his ice cream sandwich he'd picked out. Right then Eli asked, "WHERE'S ZEKE???" Oh no!!! I quickly swerved into the K-Mart parking lot to head back to the Chevron. Poor Zeke! I can't believe I left him! It was taking forever to maneuver through the crowds and cars through the shopping center so I called the gas station. The gal couldn't see a little boy covered in chalk color wandering around. I asked her to check the bathroom~ he was still in there, oblivious. I could hear her talking to him: "Are you Zeke?" ....."yes...." By the time I pulled in he was walking out the door, totally un-bothered. To him, he'd just walked out of the bathroom and the lady said his mom would be right there- and I pulled in. The other kids were much more affected. Ah, I can't even believe I did that! I gave him lots of smooches and told him I was so sorry. I joked with the kids that is why I always do roll-call in the car. Zeke said he wasn't even worried and just munched on his treat.
