Paisley Girl

 Paisley is a sweet little soul. She can fight and hold her own around the house, but the next second have such tender feelings for her brothers. She has learned so much in first grade! I am amazed at the progress she has made with reading and math. She makes friends so easily~ and loves to play and play. Then she'll come up to me and whisper-"What is my new friends name that I'm playing with right now?" But the constant friend is little Esme. It is so fun to watch these two grow and play and giggle.
Their first grade program was adorable. Both grandma's were there to support, as well as Grandpa Taylor.  I saw her face searching the crowd for us. I could see the instant she found us, and registered her grandparents were there to support. I could see she was so happy and fighting back tears! So sweet!



I sewed the pals matching skirts
 I found a shirt for P that matched one I have exactly. She was so excited when I gave it to her, she insisted we put them on, with our matching red shoes and show Dad!

What a breath of fresh air and sweetness she adds to our home!

 Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. Maybe it is because it is kid number four, but I have all the confidence in him. What a guy! We had a fun family gathering at Cash's house. Fun because ALL of the Boc's were there. May Celebrations and Love!

Our little Paisley and all of her little friends are graduating from High School and all of us mothers cannot believe it! My dear friend and current Young Women's President, Elin, set up a beautiful evening for the girls and mothers to celebrate each one of them. It was lovely and touching and very special. These girls are the best! Despite the scaffolding that has been a staple for way too many weeks I care to count, I always appreciate our coming-to-life spring yard. Everything is filling in nicely. It is amazing how big our trees and bushes have become in hardly no time! But that scaffolding! You can't really tell, but it is quite the maze to get in the front door. The porch area may need to be removed just so that people can enter safely on the Homecoming Day.  My friend Kelly reminded our CRU when we replaced our faces onto her family portrait when she arrived home from living abroad for a time. Happy Anniversary to Jon & Lindsey!

Happy 25 Years to us! We spent the weekend at Snowbird at the lovely resort. It was all so pretty! Our room had such gorgeous views of the mountainside. I texted this pic to Adren of Pfeifferhorn, a mountain he summited with his dad once. I looked at that, marveling that my boy has been there! We took the tram up to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views all around. One of the days it was nice to say, "The only thing on our schedule is a tram ride and dinner reservations". After so much hussle, it was nice to not have a whole lot to do. Chillin' with Jonny was really nice and good for us. It was a good reminder that we really enjoy each other. I mean, we knew that, but it is nice to spend a weekend together when you don't have a million other things going on.
