Weekend with the Sista's!

I think I've said it before, but this is my Christmas. This weekend away was so needed. It was great to chat and chat (until the wee hours of the morning) shop, eat, sleep in and just catch up with each others lives. It is the best!
We all met up at Eliza's, even though she couldn't get away this time. We all look calm, but we are really squealing like little girls inside.
Sweet Tooth is a must
 Jon face-timed me with the kids at one point. We were all heading in to Home Goods, so I stayed outside and chatted with everyone for a little. Hours later at dusk when we were leaving, I sent Jon a text, "We are just heading out of the store I was going in to when you called". A slice of heaven, I tell ya!

Little did we realize, in all our chatting and laughing, we left an entire cart- all paid for- inside the store! Ashley didn't even realize until she got home and that nice store shipped it all to her- for free! I sure love these gals, these get-a-ways are truly the best!

This is what was waiting for me when I got home. Paisley had been hard at work, and I would expect nothing less. Inside that bag is cards and 32 cents. Lucky me.

 Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. Maybe it is because it is kid number four, but I have all the confidence in him. What a guy! We had a fun family gathering at Cash's house. Fun because ALL of the Boc's were there. May Celebrations and Love!

Our little Paisley and all of her little friends are graduating from High School and all of us mothers cannot believe it! My dear friend and current Young Women's President, Elin, set up a beautiful evening for the girls and mothers to celebrate each one of them. It was lovely and touching and very special. These girls are the best! Despite the scaffolding that has been a staple for way too many weeks I care to count, I always appreciate our coming-to-life spring yard. Everything is filling in nicely. It is amazing how big our trees and bushes have become in hardly no time! But that scaffolding! You can't really tell, but it is quite the maze to get in the front door. The porch area may need to be removed just so that people can enter safely on the Homecoming Day.  My friend Kelly reminded our CRU when we replaced our faces onto her family portrait when she arrived home from living abroad for a time. Happy Anniversary to Jon & Lindsey!

Happy 25 Years to us! We spent the weekend at Snowbird at the lovely resort. It was all so pretty! Our room had such gorgeous views of the mountainside. I texted this pic to Adren of Pfeifferhorn, a mountain he summited with his dad once. I looked at that, marveling that my boy has been there! We took the tram up to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views all around. One of the days it was nice to say, "The only thing on our schedule is a tram ride and dinner reservations". After so much hussle, it was nice to not have a whole lot to do. Chillin' with Jonny was really nice and good for us. It was a good reminder that we really enjoy each other. I mean, we knew that, but it is nice to spend a weekend together when you don't have a million other things going on.
