A friend asked me if I wouldn't mind using my house to host a baby shower for another friend of ours expecting twins. She was throwing it with our friends sis-in-law (savvy?- Good!)
They had everything planned down to the food, games, craft and decorations. My kind of party to host! Here is how my house looked about 2 hours before everyone arrived.
I called Jon to see if he could come get the kids so I could clean up the house and get things ready- I realized it is a little unnerving to have people coming over- and just trusting there will be refreshment and entertainment. No worries, all the bases were covered and then some!
I hung a "festive" banner and strung some "summer lights". ~ And planted some flowers in my pots. (as I type it is a month later and I am just remembering to water those...)
I tidied up the house, arranged some fresh flowers, and pulled out extra seating...
I did make those stars hanging in the windows and thought they looked so cute, they are still up as I type.
I put together these cute little party favors. (it's animal crackers in the bag... get it???? She's having twins....)
There was a ton of food and treats, a onesie decorating station ~ which turned out adorable, some fun games and of course great peeps.
Her sis-in-law made these cakes, I thought they were so cute for boy and girl twins!
I am always available to host a party~!
