Once in a blue moon I'll let the kids get out all kinds of things out of the pantry and experiment. Adren especially loves this- this time he requested some scientist glasses, and I realized Jon does have some safety glasses that made him feel like the real thing. We started with mixing water and oil in a bottle, and adding food coloring to make a "mood lamp". This moved on to filling small cups with baking soda and watching them spill over when vinegar is added. Adren liked spraying Pam cooking spray on a cookie sheet and trying to mix different things into it. After a day or two they're over it, until next time it is suggested. Using measuring cups, funnels, sifters etc. has never been so exciting!
Zeke got his learners!!! This was easy-peasy, first try. He is an excellent driver, though he says he does not feel super confident. Maybe it is because it is kid number four, but I have all the confidence in him. What a guy! We had a fun family gathering at Cash's house. Fun because ALL of the Boc's were there. They haven't all been together for years- like since before Grayson's mission. They all gathered for Matt and Abby's 30th anniversary! Sooo sweet. Look at this bunch!
