I'm doin' it!
I cannot believe I am blogging. Not that I have anything against blogging, it just didn't seem like "my thing". But as time passes so quickly and I get a slight guilty nagging feeling about not scrap booking my childrens lives, I must blog. I do occasionally jot things down in my journal about life and how the kiddies are growing and developing, but it is usually late at night when I'm crawling into bed so I find myself trying to hurry my notes along so I can sleep. Also, as Jon can attest, I always forget the camera! It makes me so mad! Just last week I took the kids to the zoo where we strolled along at our own pace, rode the carousel, played at the playground, rode the train, so many picture perfect moments, and I'm kicking myself for forgetting the camera to document this special trip. Just a couple of days later we met up with friends at Thanksgiving Point where the boys rode ponies for the first time. Their facial expressions were worth 1000 bucks. Did I have a camera to document this? No. I thought to myself, if I blogged I bet I would make more of an effort to grab the camera! So, I must blog. Hopefully one day my kids will appreciate my effort to capture little glimpses of their lives growing up. It's the same as scrap booking, right?
ps- I saw a guy walking the mall in a T-shirt that made me smile: "No one cares about your Blog!"
