I have bought out all the wood beads in the surrounding Hobby Lobby's. And two different shades of ink. I have been dying the beads with the ink and a little water to make it go further and I like the different colors it produces in the beads. While it is a bit involved: dying, then drying, then stringing and tying and measuring etc., it is simple work and I enjoy listening to something as I go.

It's a little wonky, but I like it like that. I keep thinking- when you see something in the store and it's a little wonky, it makes it more endearing, you know? I am accepting the wonkiness.
The Shafer's invited us ALL their house for the Super Bowl Party! It is always the best to get together with this group. Ashley even made a questionairre about the game/ Tay-Tay we had to answer before kick-off. We checked off our answers as we went. At the end Ash had us raise our hands if we got so many right- as people started putting their hands down I was left with Grayson's roommate, but no one saw my hand up. I was happy to let him get the prize. I had to chuckle that out of a room full of football and Taylor Swift fans, little old me won. Ha!
Full house! We all contribute to food and appetizers and dessert and it is quite the feast!
Of course, the Cheifs won. I was so entertained listening to Eliza's conspiracy theory about it. I also don't doubt it!
As each day ticks by, I just keep adding to my streak! Go me!
To celebrate our Mary, she scheduled us a little lesson with the BYU Color Guard Coach! We went after hours. She was so kind to accomodate. Mary was in the color guard in High School at Alta High and then went on to perform in her years at BYU. She has such fond memories and wanted to share those with us. She taught us some flag waving routines- which are surprisingly hard! Afterwards the coach showed us some YouTube of some of BYU's performances at the home football games. For something I have barely noticed in the past, I am very impressed and will be sure to pay more attention to from now on! There is a lot of coordination and memorization involved there!

A Child's Hope Foundation is moving! The current office space has been it's home for the past 20 years! It is so cramped with two small rooms and so many employees, volunteers and Interns that come in regularly. If you need to take a meeting you have to find a spot somewhere else in the building. We share our warehouse with another nonprofit, and we are right on top of each other. A guy named Wayne owns a business (National Processing). He has been donating to us for some time, and wanted his employees to volunteer for us so that they know who they're donating to. They've been coming once a month to clean our office, and are the nicest people! Anyway, once Wayne came himself to clean and was shocked at our cramped space. He offered this new space for us! People are just amazing. It is HUGE. Once we knew we were moving, our office has felt extra small! I have been getting this move organized and figuring out which departments will go where and how to organize everything.
Here's our new space!
It will be so much work moving our space over, but I am excited to paint this new place and make it awesome!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE ONE AND ONLY JONNY G!
And now Jonny is 50! I can't quite wrap my brain around it. I met him on his 17th birthday.
It was a glorious day! We went and saw One Love that night, ode to Bob Marley. It was such a beautiful night when we came out of the theater! I take these mountain pics for Adren.
We came home to a mountain of eclairs. His favorite!
Paisley had to take "old fashioned" pictures for a school project, and I thought they turned out so cute!
And now I bask in the glory of the finished chandelier. I love the dusty pink with it- but do I try a NEW color??? (I wonder this daily.)
