I looked forward to Bear Lake at the end of summer. Paul was able to get this great cabin, a trade with his St. George house. Since everyone in the family runs the business, we couldn't all be there at once, so we took our family up the first of the week.
What a relaxing, gorgeous place! We arrived during the tail end of Raspberry Days. Our first evening, we sat on the wrap-around deck and listened to the rodeo.
It was lovely to have time to spend with Paul and Sharon, and the kids loved getting all the attention. We didn't have a whole lot on the agenda other than the lake!
We went out for hours every day. We found a nice little spot on the first day and kept going back. Zeke said he was sleepy and prepared himself for a nap...
The boys swam and swam some more, played in the "sand" and caught frogs.
Paisley didn't care for the water much, but entertained herself coloring in her book and on rocks and sitting in
her chair.
It was a relaxing, restful trip and the kids had a
ball! It was the last weekend of the Olympics, and it was so fun to be together in the evenings, watching the events and playing games. Of course the first night Eli split his head open and we had to get
that under control~ it was bad! It seems there's always something...
